Angels Everywhere
I hear the rush of angel wings
As they travel in the air
If our eyes could see beyond the veil
We would see them everywhere
They guide us, they guard us
They are messengers of Love
We know that they are sent to us
From Our Heavenly Father up above
So do not be lonely
And do not be blue
God sends these special messengers
To minister to me and you
But now what about the ones
Who live on earth,
Those who have ministered to us
Since the day of our birth?
I call them my "Everyday angels"
And they are always there for me
They look just so ordinary
But their love they share, you see
They do things so quietly
And without being told
I'll always be grateful for them
They are precious as fine gold
So you see there are angels
And they are everywhere
Some you may not see
But they all show that they care
So listen for the angels
And know that they are near
God truly does send them
To bring His Love and cheer

May You Always Have An Angel By Your Side
May you always have an angel by your side
Watching out for you in all the things you do
Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days
Finding ways for your wishes and dreams
to take you to beautiful places
Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun
Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide
May you always have love and comfort and courage
And may you always have an angel by your side.
May you always have an angel by your side
Someone there to catch you if you fall
Encouraging your dreams
Inspiring your happiness
Holding your hand and helping
you through it all.
In all of our days, our lives are always changing
Tears come along as well as smiles
Along the roads you travel,
may the miles be a thousand times more lovely
than lonely
May they give you the
kind gifts that never ever end:
someone wonderful to love and a
dear friend in whom you can confide
May you have rainbows after every storm
May you have hopes to keep you warm
And may you always have an Angel by your side

There's An Angel In My Life
There have been angels in my life.
While they haven't arrived with a blast of trumpets
or a rustle of wings,
I've known them just the same.
They performed their acts in human guise,
sometimes borrowing the faces of family and friends,
sometimes posing as well-meaning strangers.
You have known them, too,
when just the right word was needed,
when a tiny act of kindness made a great difference...
Or perhaps you heard a voice
whispering in the night of sorrow,
the words not quite clear
but the meaning unmistakable...
"There is hope... There is hope."
To My Friends, The Angels
An angel here, an angel there,
I'm surrounded by angels everywhere.
When I'm in the middle of a terrible storm
They come with their candles to keep me warm.
An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,
I'm surrounded by angels, everywhere.
The angels who reach out when times are rough,
Who'll listen to my heartache and all kinds of stuff
Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night
For watering the happiness and making it grow.
Lynette Siler
The Angel of Patience
To weary hearts, to mourning homes,
God's meekest Angel gently comes;
No power has he to banish pain,
Or give us back our lost again;
And yet in tenderest love, our dear
And heavenly Father sends him here.
There's quiet in that Angel's glance,
There's rest in his still countenance!
He mocks no grief with idle cheer,
Nor wounds with words the mourners ear;
But ills and woes he may not cure
He kindly trains us to endure.
Angel of patience! Sent to calm
Our feverish brows with cooling palm;
To lay the storm of hope and fear,
And reconcile life's smile and tear;
The throb of wounded Pride to still,
And make our own our Father's will!
O thou who mournest on the way,
With longings for the close of day;
He walks with thee, that angel kind,
And gently whispers, "Be resigned;
Bear up; bear on, the end shall tell
The dear Lord ordereth all things well!"
John Greenleaf Whittier
